Like a Wireless Prayer

A laptop can send a message without any visible wire.
You cannot hear the signal, but the server receives it.

Prayer is like that in a greater way.

We may speak softly, or even only in our heart, but God hears.

“Before a word is on my tongue, behold, O LORD, you know it altogether.”
— Psalm 139:4

God is high above all things, yet He is also near to those who call on Him.

“The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.”
— Psalm 145:18

Even when we pray in secret, God hears.

“Pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”
— Matthew 6:6

But prayer is not just sending words into the sky.
Jesus is the One who brings us to God.

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
— John 14:6

Because Jesus died for our sins and rose again, we can come to God with confidence.

“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace.”
— Hebrews 4:16

So even the tiniest prayer is not lost.
God hears.
God knows.
And through Jesus, we can come near to the Father.

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
— Romans 10:13
